SVP Arizona's Investment (Grantmaking) Program
Social Venture Partners Arizona (SVP Arizona) was started in 1999 with the mission of applying a venture capital model to invest in and partner with nonprofit organizations in order to address the social challenges of the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Social Venture Partners Arizona's multi-year investments include both financial and human capital. Along with financial grants, the partners of SVP Arizona contribute their professional business expertise to assist their "investees" in building organizational capacity. It is this teaming of strong social programs and professional entrepreneurial skills that is the foundation of this new movement in venture philanthropy.

To date, SVPAZ has conducted ten grant cycles resulting in over $2 million invested into Phoenix area nonprofits.

Focus Areas & Partnerships
The Partners of SVP Arizona have chosen education and children's issues as investment priorities. We specifically seek organizations or programs that will be significantly impacted by the contribution of SVPAZ funds and skills.
